Game On! group programs are designed for boys ages 12-14 and provides them with information to help make informed choices about healthy, active living. The goal of the program is that participants develop self-esteem, healthy eating habits and be physically active.

The program strives to do the following:

  • through the lens of healthy living, openly discuss current and pressing issues facing boys and young men
  • build appreciation for the benefits of healthy eating habits
  • promote physical exercise through the use of non-traditional activities
  • instill respect for socio-economic, ethno-cultural and racial diversity
  • encourage leadership skills and independent thinking
  • and above all, make a difference.
Commitment: 2 hours/week | 7 weeks

You will lead a group of 8-12 students alongside another volunteer. Each session takes place on school property during the school day and focuses on promoting healthy living. Program manuals and training are provided.
